Designed by German aerobatic champion Walter Extra, the Extra 300 made its first flight in 1988 and has since become a staple in competitive aerobatics worldwide. Walter Extra, a former aerobatic competitor himself, sought to create an aircraft that combined his passion for aerobatics with his technical expertise. The result was the Extra 300—a two-seat, mid-wing monoplane capable of unlimited aerobatic maneuvers.
