The Model 12 is one of the most recognizable aerobatic biplanes ever created. Developed and refined by Kevin Kimball and Kimball Enterprises around the Russian Vedeneyev M14P radial engine, it combines enormous power, exceptional aerobatic capability, and unmistakable presence.
Drawing on decades of design experience and World Championship success in F3A and 3D, Quique Somenzini has continually evolved the Model 12 for R/C aerobatics. Each design has advanced its structure, aerodynamics, and geometry—reducing coupling, refining control feel, and expanding its 3D and extreme aerobatic (XA) capabilities.

The Taipan 120cc features Flex Innovations’ proprietary Speed-Lock system makes assembly fast, secure, and tool-free, simplifying setup and transport. A bold Clint Sweet Designs trim scheme gives the Taipan a look to match its performance.
